Ahmed Kamal & Associates is a law firm dedicated to Islamic family law matters since June 2014. We support individuals and families through sensitive legal issues with clarity, discretion, and respect for Shariah-based principles and local legal requirements through our 10+ years experience. Our practice focuses on divorce proceedings, hadhanah (child custody and care arrangements), and faraid (inheritance distribution), along with related family disputes and documentation. We aim to reduce stress by explaining options in plain language, preparing strong case strategies, and representing clients professionally from consultation to resolution.
Ahmed Kamal was attached with Price Waterhouse & Co., an International Accounting firm in Sydney and Malaysia for a number of years. He later started out his own consultancy and auditing practice in Kuala Lumpur. He has to date an experience of about thirty years in various corparate and consultancy assingments, locally and abroad.
Subsequently he enrolled in the International
Islamic University (UIA) and was conferred a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice in 1990. He obtained his LLB(Hons) from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) in 2004.
Ahmed Kamal has the experienceof about 11 years in the legal field before deciding to practice full time in 2014.
The combination of the qualifications in the accounting and legal fields enables and ensures that the firm is able to provide a wider range of services than the average legal firm.

Obtained her legal qualifications from the International Islamic University (UIA) where she obtained an LL.B (Hons) With Second Class Upper. She had 15 years practising civil law before deciding to focus on Syariah Law for the past 12 years and is currently running the Syariah Department of the firm since 2014.
Abdullah Abbas

Obtained a First Class honours Degree in Syariah from the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah International Islamic University (UniSHAMS), Kedah. And further pursued his studies in Diploma in Judicial and Advocatory Practice (DIJAP) from University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Bandar Baru Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
